The Political Barrier to a PA State

By Shmuel Sackett

Dear Friends,

The battle has begun! As you know, Netanyahu spent this week in Washington. Bibi will be under tremendous pressure to declare his support for a Palestinian state. People ask me all the time;
"What is Moshe Feiglin doing to stop this?"
I always answer people that if they ask this question, they simply don't understand what chess game is being played. Today, there are 27 MK's in Likud and about 20 of them are MUCH more to the right than Bibi wanted. These 20 are opposed to the creation of a Palestinian state and will fight Bibi as best they can.
How did they get elected?
If Bibi didn't want them "on the team" how did they get there?
Please read excerpts of an article from TODAY'S Jerusalem Post and the answer will be VERY clear:

Likud ministers ready to resist PA state
May. 18, 2009
Gil Hoffman , THE JERUSALEM POST
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu would not be able to advance the formation of a Palestinian state, due to the wide majority against it in the Likud faction, MKs who oppose a two-state solution said Sunday.
They said that unlike the fight against the disengagement from the Gaza Strip, when only 15 MKs out of 40 dared challenge then-prime minister Ariel Sharon, this time around, two-thirds of the Likud faction would defy a potential effort by Netanyahu to withdraw from parts of Judea and Samaria.
Due in part to the efforts of Likud activist Moshe Feiglin, Likud members elected a slate of MKs that was more right-leaning than Netanyahu had wanted.

My dear friends - you MUST explain this to your friends!
The ONLY party that will have a battle over the Palestinian state issue is the Likud. THAT is where the power lies and THAT is where Feiglin has moved his chess pieces into place!

If you are an Israeli citizen and you have not yet registered for the Likud, now is the time to do so. Click here for a Hebrew registration form. Fax the completed form to 153-52-566 5851 or to the Manhigut Yehudit office at 09 792 0570. Now is also the time to register your children who have turned 18, friends, relatives and co-workers. This is the only effective political action today that can save Israel!

Congratulations to YOU for supporting our efforts! We will keep you posted.
