What would have been the Police Response if the Slain Israeli Rappeller had been an Arab?

By Moshe Feiglin

“In a weak and feeble voice, the Police Department has announced that it will not press charges against the suspects in the Netanel Arami murder case,” said Moshe Feiglin on Sunday. Netanel Arami plunged to his death over a year ago when the rope from which he was rappelling as part of his work at a construction site was cut. Investigators who went up to the roof from which Arami had been rappelling found the rope cut and heard the Arab workers there laughing. Feiglin noted that a cut rappelling rope looks completely different than a rope that has been worn out. In addition, there are always 2 ropes: one main rope and one safety rope.

“But the police explained that there is not enough evidence to press charges,” Feiglin said. “We can only imagine how they would have responded if the dead rappeller had been an Arab and next to the cut rope the words ‘price tag’ had been written…”
